Hey all!

I致e decided to take a break from the game for a bit as I see myself getting frustrated with team building & the overall construct of GLB2. Aside from that, I知 also tired of the lack of consistency when it comes to gameplay/the sim. Feels like a football game for the current user base, rather than an actual football game.

Instead of heading down that negativity rabbit-hole, I think it値l be healthier for me to take a step back. I appreciate everyone for the assistance over the seasons!

I値l be renewing until the flew runs out. Idk if I値l return full-time before then, but the ACU Eagles will be around for a bit.

I know the game can get frustrating because there's a lot to learn. Player builds for every position. Then playbooks and tactics for both offense and defense.

It's not easy and there's subtlety that I'm still learning 15+ seasons in. Although the game does have issues for the most part it'll be better player builds, tactics and playbooks that will make the difference. Keep in mind the elite teams in the game aren't doing anything that isn't available to you. They just have more experience and that will be you one day as well.

I do wish Bort would adjust the leagues to have the lower ranked teams together in a league so they can still have fun while learning the game. But, when I brought it up before, people crapped on the idea so... I guess a dying player base is the consequence of not making the game more enjoyable for newcomers.

I've already seen two or three owners leave the game this season... one team literally changed it's name to Bye Bye and left. Which sucks because Franchise mode certainly invigorated interest this season.

I've only ever seen the top agents be in favor of a lower tier league for new owners and unsuccessful owners

Yes, because if you're good but not great, like me, then I end up in a high league against only successful owners but don't do well against them, when in a mixed league I do fine. If you're elite then you'll be elite in a league of the best also, so you're happy to only play tough teams. You'll win most of those games anyway.

The ladder games should be set up to better do what I think they're supposed to do, in creating more even matchups. The league structure is as it should be.

It would be cool if leagues would reshuffle every year with the top 12 going to same league, 13-24 to another and so on.

Here's a crazy thought. Why not give teams the option to join the CPU leagues. So, you'd have these leagues as "Recreational" leagues.

Teams would get 1st, 2nd, 3rd place banners instead of trophies.

At the end of each season every team can choose if they want to go into a Recreational or Competitive league (aka the current leagues) the following season (the same way we currently choose if we want to reset our teams).

So, if you get slotted into a tough Competitive league you can always choose to go in a Recreational league the following season so you're not stuck getting beat up on season after season.

This way you can learn how to build players and game plan against other recreational and CPU teams. As you learn the game you can always move your team in to a Competitive league again and see how you do the following season.

I've suggested exactly this. Reshuffling leagues based on history of the run.

i agree, i work alot and don't put over 50% of my life into this game, it sucks when you get beat by a large margin by the same guys that live on here, i think with the way the Franchise mode is going and the way the CPU players level and boost now can open up to a fun starter league, for newbies and recreational players, on the same token you know there's going to be guys that will abuse that for tropheys and wins.

That's why I underlined that top teams in the recreational leagues would get banners not trophies like you would in the competitive league.
