Warrior General Games

So I've been trying to figure this game out since Monday and have literally made no progress. Once my account got verified I went to create my pickup player first. The problem is no matter what position I click on it wont let me pick. Im very close to quitting this game.
I need Help.

I need Help.

If you are playing on your phone/tablet you may need to rotate the device as the website acts weird on the character creation screen when at certain widths.

Also after clicking the position you want there is a button on the righthand side under the description of the position that says 'choose this position' that can be kinda easy to miss.

Like whenever i Go to create my pickup player i press the CB position but it doesnt let me press choose this position. I shouldnt have to play since it says free player. also it still has prices listed under each position even though it says free

im still having this problem it wont let me choose the position. do i need to join a league first because if so i will.

Is the Choose This Position button greyed out?
Can you choose any other position and the button works?
Are you doing this on a computer or phone?

Ace Of spades 7 The choose this position button is greyed out. I cant choose any other position and Im on PC

Hmmm, try to get to that page again by clicking the Home tab > click on PICKUP PLAYER.

You should be able to choose any position (all of them will say FREE beside them) and the Choose This Position button should work.

Let me know what you see otherwise.

still nothing and the position i want is still saying it cost 100 fp and i dont have fp because i havent even played this game before

I'm not sure why you are seeing that as you don't have any players an you can create one free.
Let's start by clicking the big black box area that says:
PICKUP PLAYER You have a free pickup player available. Create one now!

See if that works for creating a player.

No, I'm on a PC and am clicking it right now and it's working. You can't join a league without creating a player first.

So, if you can't create a FREE player or a PICKUP player that has to be a bug because there's no reason I can think of that it wouldn't work.

Hopefully, one of the developers will ready this forum soon and get back to you with a solution. Sorry I couldn't help any more.

Looks like you got it to work.

With you pick-up player you can play in pick-up games (Shirts vs. Skins) which happen every 30 minutes. As you progress through each game you'll be able to add skill points and develop your player. This is a good way to test your build ideas that you can then use toward making regular players.

With your regular player you should see some contract offers. Most of them will be from CPU teams. But, you can click on each team to 'scout' them and see if you want to sign there. With this type of player you'll play in two games every three real life days and will, again, get skill points to use after every game.

However, if you want to play more often, while waiting for the 'real games' you can run a bunch of pick up games.

It can look daunting in the beginning but it's actually a lot of fun once you learn more about it.
