I wasn't exactly clear about how many Stars I can create for the franchise roster? Given my profile only allows me to have one QB/HB/LB, one WR/TE/CB/FS/SS, and one FB/OT/G/C/DT/DE/K/P Does that mean I can only create three super stars for my franchise team?

No Superstar limit for franchise players (salary cap still applies), and your superstar meter will not go down

So in theory I could have 10 of my own Stars on my franchise team and then use my additional 3 Stars to play on another teams roster?

Yep, players made for a franchise are 100% no cost (and retire for 0)

Bort’s implementation of Franchises is absolutely fantastic. It’s so good, it may push the game towards more single player mode than MMO-like in the past.
For mostly solo players like me, this is an off the charts change. I didn’t expect that a “subscription” option would really change things. And I don’t think the “subscription” aspect itself did. But the way Bort implemented it is simply amazing.
Bravo!!

I agree, I have been a single player owner since the game started, this is so much easier this way.

This may also be it's downfall as there is much more to learn just to be anywhere near competitive. It's great for experienced owners but not so great for new people or ones that just made players or mostly just coached. It's going to be near impossible to win with a team of randoms vs a league full of one man teams with meta builds.

Great implementation though for sure, if I knew anything about running a team I would love it.

The nice part is you can still have someone join your coaching staff, so you cant still have help with any of that.

All true. Also true for every other game.
The beauty of this is that you can build a team without resource (S*) restriction for 3200 FLEX.
And then the next season either go up a tier or reset. Either way, 3200 flex.
A newbie can learn faster than ever before because you can iterate faster than ever before.
Everything is daunting until you master it.
