Welcome to Mars League Season 70, where last years Champs, The Jarvis Street Coffee Squirrels look to defend Season 69's championship.
We have new faces this season where men are born.
In the Alpha Division:
Incredible Builds is looking to hold on to that division title with The Supreme God of GLB 2 leading the way after a devastating loss to the Coffee Squirrels in the Championship Game. With a game one loss to The Wiggle Warriors 42-21, this might be a work in progress. 0-1
The Wiggle Warriors look to continue squirming their way to another winning record with wiggle wiggle leading the charge after a season which saw him turn out 1900 yrds and 16 TD's. A fresh win to start the season has them wiggling their way to a 42-21, 1-0 start.
Tainted Meat is trying to make a comeback after flopping and flailing all season long on their way to a 3rd place spot in the division during season 69. After game one against the Grape Apes, it looks like it could be another long season for Terminus. 0-1
And New to Mars we have the Grape Apes, Mars hasn't seen this team before but previous history and trophies in the locker room say they are prepared to make a run. Their first game in mars league being a blowout in favor of the Apes 72-13. Watch out ladies and gents the Apes are throwing...1-0
Beta:
The 95 Skers look to run away with the division after a game one win against 2.0, Rushing for 420yrds on 67 carries. Tommie Frazier wasn't used much in this one but when he was he came through. 1-0.
The Azteca Dragons continue their dominance from last season as they pounded their way past division rivals The Logzilla Boys 45-7 on their way to the first win of the season. The Dragons are breathing fire in the Beta division and it's getting hot. 1-0
New to mars is 2.0. Not much is known about 2.0 here on Mars and after dropping their first game of the season to the division rival 95 Skers, they may wish they had moved to Venus. But with a long season ahead they have room to grow. 0-1
The Logzilla Boys have returned for another season here on Mars and lost game 1 to the rival Dragons 45-7. Hopes are still high for them boys as they look forward to their next game against 2.0. 0-1
Gamma:
The Mars league season 69 defending champion Coffee Squirrels look to continue their domination after a week one thrashing of The League of Unremarkable Individuals 76-0. Chuck Norris lead the way with 400 yrds on the ground and 4 scores. The Squirrels are on the ground and they are running. 1-0
The Compton Conspiracy Theorists start the season 1-0 after giving Mediocre Mayhem all they had in a 38-7 victory, with week one MVP candidate Self Help Guru running for 346yrds 4 scores and 80yrds through the air. Watch out Gamma the Conspiracy Theorists look like they might have to drop the theory. Cause being good is a fact.
Mediocre Mayhem drops game one despite best efforts from the defense, Compton just ended up being too much for them and they go down. 0-1
The League of Unremarkable Individuals lived up to the name week one of the season. The offense just couldn't keep the defending champs from getting the ball and scoring. It's a long season and someone has to face the defending champs first. 0-1
In week 2:
We have the 0-1's Terminus at Incredible Builds.
The 1-0's Grape Apes at the Wiggle Warriors
0-1's 2.0 heads to Logzilla
0-1's Mediocre Mayhem heads to The League
1-0' Compton goes to visit the Park and feed the Squirrels
And the game of the week The 1-0 95 Skers head to Azteca to face the Dragons.
