Should someone skip s0 boosts cuz I said so? Probably not. But should they do it because RyanCane26 and King of Bling and Tomcic do it? Ya, that's probably a real thing to copy...
What's going to happen is at some point it'll become the accepted best practice that everyone follows who makes decent+ dots. It is inevitable, like in the old system boosting from 22 to 25...
I'm willing to bet a solid that this is not the end of this. There's a HUGE difference between looking at a bunch of math and looking at an actual product and that, once these dots his plateau, we'll all sit back and say "Oops... didn't see that." I'm no different. I've been doing my own thing with the math and my build ideals and then running that against Ryan and other's math and I have yet to see any advantage either way. They end up with 3AEQ dots that have a slightly higher Primary skill, but a touch lower on the secondary's than my way does. In the end, that's a hard call to try and sell folks that "my way is better/right" because you can't SEE that... yet. And, again, I could be wrong just as easily. Hell... we all could be wrong. But not by anything cataclysmic! I mean, all us old timers have been building dots since dinosaurs roamed the fields! It's not like we're going to have vastly different dots at the end... just slightly.
Which is fine and we'll all get together after our dots are all grown up and compare notes and make adjustments. I just don't think anyone will be "nailing" their builds this go 'round. But I also doubt this crop of dots will be crap either. I mean... ALG's have not changed. Dot leveling has not changed... you still start with 0 and end at 79. Everything else we'll figure out together.
