Strong DL never becomes irrelevant unless you only count sacks.

Ty, I am not trying to shoot down your idea. I think it is a good thing for the game when guys like you and others make suggestions. There are a lot of factors that contribute to the DL appearring OP when compared to the OL. There are models of teams that do not have this problem. This next question is not meant to be disrespectful, hopefully it will help you find the answers that you seek and enjoy the game more. Have you looked for those teams and asked their owner/coach for advice on how they do it?

Defense is the most expensive it's been in at least quite some time.

Also, the amount of blocking Oline need to be relevant is criminal. As in, they don't need very much at all.

Think people either forgot, or didn’t know, I used to be pretty successful running pass teams (coached several QBs with HoF careers) before USC and I started running balanced pre-balance boom. He stopped playing, while I spend my time building around weak aspects of the game. People have always needed “data”, therefore I build my teams to reflect.

I haven’t used star defensive linemen in *seasons*; simply because you don’t need one to have a decent line. A few star linemen is one thing, but a line full of star defensive linemen suffer nowhere near the same in comparison to building an offensive line.

You all assume I’m complaining about myself and get mad when I set the record straight that people can care about the game in general and not have their head up their own ass. Weird what people consider what’s reasonable vs game breaking these days.

The easiest way to be taken seriously is to win, tbh.

It's hard to take anyone's opinion on game balance seriously when they're sitting at the bottom of the ladder no matter who it is.

I took a break and won a championship in a tough league. Couldn’t hoist it again, but we made the playoff each season & top 5 (five every year except once) ladder throughout our existence. Literally spent that whole run complaining about how simplistic and limiting it is, but how necessary it was to compete with users following the same simplistic pattern. Fact check kid.

Respectfully, I think it’s a joke that you think so highly of yourself. I heard a bunch of players were on discord complaining about build plans and not having access to what they need to be successful. Hence why I’m not on the Discord bc wtf? That is the cruddiest logic ever to play the game.

Once again, don’t come into my spaces talking shit then bitching to/with moderators about having your feelings hurt. My message inbox overwhelmingly show I’m not taking these suggestions out my ass and that users are tired, so dunno why everyone’s assuming I only care about myself

The game is a lot different than how it used to be - wins a long time ago don't always hold up. Even Rob is proof of that.

People would ignore me or anyone else if we didn't win - it's just human nature.

You're always free to join Academy yourself and see how it is first hand instead of second or third hand. We'll all be willing to help you with anything you need.

I haven't been anything but respectful to you in these suggestions. I also never appeal to anyone to protect my feelings, I have no need for it and Agerm simply does what he feels within his best judgment.

I would also hope that the overwhelming number of people who message you privately come onto the forum or the discord to make themselves heard, we want their input too after all.

In my opinion, every top team in recent history has been completely different. I do not see a simplistic pattern at all.

Anyone who doesn't have access to what they need is more than welcome to ask. I haven't seen anyone refused help. That being said, you will need to keep it civil there, too.
