If every issue is going to be denied due to the star arms race, then just cap the amount of supes a team can have.

We have prodigy & one user can farm six stars anyways. If it’s such an issue then let’s just fix the issue once and for all.

I used to share the same philosophy Ty. I love prodigy and think that it will help a bit. In my experience, the salary cap makes a player have to decide how many Supers they want. Super star ladden team lack depth. I personally believe a more balanced roster with super stars in the right positions with depth on offense and defense is the way to go.

But if I want to abuse the system it doesn’t really matter what you want to do right? I’ve played around with the idea on scout for a bit now & you can have 11-12 supes on a team with 39/40 players.

Just because it *can* be done, it *will* be done. Always.

I guess that I do not understand what it is you are looking for Ty.
Is it realism, or something else?
If it is realism, than what is realistic in your view and what is not?

I'd like to see said roster - I can't imagine it doesn't involve S* kicker and punter.

Dunno what kind of question this is at all. Read the first post. Read anyone’s response as to why we shouldn’t have anything. Look at all the complaining over the years over the supe issue. Issue has only gotten worse since season 2.

Doesn’t have anything to do with what’s being asked…

Ignoring all users who are clearly dancing around what I’m talking about. Not gonna keep switching between my PMs and the forums between people who clearly understand what I’m trying to get across vs blatantly disregarding the information in front of them.

I don't agree. At least speaking for myself, once I test an idea I move on. All of my teams have been #1, but they're all completely different. A full power hitting defense with no ball skills, a cover 0 6 man blitz shutdown defense, cover 1 hybrid, and pure zone. A power inside offense, speed outside offense, deep pass offense, and a balanced possession offense. One of the teams had no S* on it at all.

So if you're trying to say that the most competitive agents are just repeating the same min-max constants over and over with slight improvements here and there, that... is objectively false. And my teams lose to all kinds of other teams that are running completely different schemes from my own.

There is no cookie cutter way to play this game, and most styles of play are capable of the highest levels of success.

Even S* are irrelevant if you build and gameplan well. I was hoping not to front another team but I'll make another one without S* if you would like proof that you don't need them. Alternatively, another way to deal with the arms race is that we could just remove the 3 S* limit and give every agent equal access to as many as they want.

There is a cap...It's called cap space.

So do it then. Make a team full of S*, and win #1 in ladder....if you can.
