I see way too many of these plays from speedy / elusive runners. The lowest pursuit on our team is the CBs at 70, yet the awareness checks are consistently failed.

Pursuit checks should differentiate the type of runner the defense is handling, or expand the tactics to allow the users to. It would be great for game planning, plus allows for greater flexibility in using dots.

The pursuit angles aren’t as intuitive as the pass rush angles. Box play is one thing considering the different factors going on there, but play from the sidelines should be more preventative of the deep plays. I see multiple poor pursuit checks on players ranging in pursuit from 70 to 90.

All defenders took angles to prevent a TD run. While the check in the middle was a bit slow, the response was “fast runner, long angle”.

When coming from the middle, some defenders seem to attack rushers like they’re all PBs and end up phasing through the elusive runners.

Even then, the Strong Safety has easy opportunity to clean the edge and force the runner on an inside angle (which should be the case with a conservative approach), but decides to do what he decided to do

Private scrim, so we can't see it.

Aww damn!

Makes sense, I’m sure Dallas don’t want people seeing the innovation over there

Yep...pursuit is broken. I set my safeties on conservative, but instead of protecting the outside, they make suicide mission straight into a blocker....ridiculous.
