Has anyone else noticed a higher than average fumble rate on their high carry grip HBs this season?
In this season's changelog: "Added an extra very difficult roll to avoid fumbling from a power tackle while rushing, so players with very high grip score have an extra chance to hold on to the ball."
Bort, in Discord, confirmed "the code literally just says "if you fail, try one more time" (nested ifs: if (!roll1) { if (!roll2) { ... ) before moving on to doing the fumble handler."
However, Waterboys' Goliath Grouper who has 100 Carry Grip, 100 Conditioning, 80 Toughness has fumbled a career high 35 times out of 724 touches (carries/KR/PR) = 4.8% so far this season. Previous seasons combined: 137 fumbles out of 4349 touches = 3.15%.
Today's game against a JMan team (he's Vet) he fumbled 3 times.
Is this just a very unlucky season for him or has anyone else noticed a higher fumble rate on their HBs?
