We have a CPU punter on our team who cannot accept a high contract. The other CPU players on our team have no problem. We should have enough salary cap room. Unsure of why this one CPU player has trouble.

I had that problem with a punter too and contacted Support in a number of places. But they did nothing about it. Unfortunately you're going to have to find another punter to take his place (as you won't be able to resign him when the time comes either).
I've actually found a lot of CPU players who won't accept contracts. But, again, this isn't something the dev's are going to fix, apparently.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, looks like he's just bugged. Won't accept any type of contract. Oh well, I guess we'll just deal with it.

You can cut and re-sign a different kicker. Chem doesn't effect CPU's.

Pretty sure they are, it's a lot easier to win with a full chem cpu team than an empty one, high contracts also seemed to help.
