If the Playoffs Started Today:
(Seed 1) Quicama Park Rangers - Control their own destiny , would lose a tiebreaker for the #1 overall seed and home field if they lose a game and Mel's Confidential wins out. Have won the division outright and early behind Big Ben Rottenburger and TE Tomar Naam Kita who are currently #1 and #2 while mixing in some support from Wooney and Henry in the air or on the ground just to keep the D honest. They dominate time of possession and currently rank #1 on offense and #4 defensively.
(Seed 2) Mel's Confidential Roman Spaceballs - Control own destiny for division any 2 wins seals the deal. Currently leads BSB and the Boston Spartans by 2 games and 2021 Cornhuskers by 3, swept the initial division round and has some potent tiebreaker advantages. Currently 2nd in both offense and defense league wise. Baring a slip from the Rangers would seem likely to be the 2nd seed.
(Seed 3) Vesuvius Eruption - They say defense wins Championships it's good enough for Beta Division certainly. The Eruption remain the #1 defensive team in the league but seem to be unable to score ranking in the bottom half of the league offensively and that's only when you give them extra creidt for overtime and special teams scores. They'll be in the post-season will they find a way to score without needing 70 minutes?
(Seed 4 - Wild Card) Contenders Abound.
Blood,Sweat, and Beers. No owner no problem. A tried and true set of plays that somehow keeps running along with some solid builds from veterans going one for the cause gives them the slimest of inside tracks for the wild card spot. They own the tiebreakers against the Huskers, Spartans, and Cash Money. Still I'd rather take the field than an inactive no matter how regular their playbook is despite being inactive.
Boston Spartans control their own playoff destiny. They own the tiebreaker against Cash Money and because of that would seem to need to win 2 of their last 3 in order to prevail. The Autopilot BSB would be the obvious spot and the Cornhuskers with that their next two games they'll be looking to get it done early or finish it off at home against a prehaps clinched and lacksidasical Mel's Confidential.
2021 Cornhuskers. After an overtime loss to Vesuvius the huskers are on life support. They have to win out on the last 3 for either the wild card or a division round if Mel's loses 3 straight and Boston vs. Beers splits - or win 2 and try to win a 3 or 4 way tie on the wild card with points surrendered
Cash Money$ - Came on really strong after a slower start but lost earlier to Nebraska and now needs to win their last 3 and hope to force the wild card to tiebreakers but have given up so many points already hard to see them winning those out. If the Huskers are on life support, Cash Money$ is somewhere in Coma ville.
