Why does my QB take so long to throw the screen pass to the WR? He is open for a while before he throws it. This causes sacks many times.

Would there be any way to treat this like a play action for throwing logic? certain drop back immed throw?

I wonder if Pass Awareness affects his ability to throw a screen pass at the right time?
