The general problem with 5-2 Man against Big I is that CB2 is lining up to the FB or HB (or worse, the BTE) and not the TE. Without a WR2, the default order is wrong. Perhaps that can easily be fixed, but here are all the plays that error effects:

There are a lot of 5-2 plays I couldn't research because they haven't been used against 1WR yet this season. FYI


I don't know why, but these plays are generally correct (the CB2 is sometimes crowded with the LO over the TE, but at least he's there). Maybe this will help you diagnose why the above aren't.

Just so you all know.

Makes these plays unusable when everyone knows they are bugged.

My 75 Man Awareness CB2 lines up in the middle of the field and bolts to the Weak side to cover WR1 before a successful Man Awareness check (Tick 27) finally turns him in the basic direction (Strong side). He's at the Weak Side hash mark, wasting 27 ticks, before he even begins to be headed in the right direction.
