WEEK 3 POWER RANKINGS
1) Montreal Maniacs (3-0): The Maniacs boast the top ranked O and D after the first three weeks, beating up on some weaker teams early. Jim Mcman and Drake Cox have combined for over 700 yards and 7 TD’s thru the air, while throwing only 1 Int. This dangerous offense also has rushed for 877 yards and 10 scores, led by Eric Trickerson’s 5 TDs. They will get a stronger test this week as they visit #7 Norfolkn’ Way.

2) Alert Sentinels (3-0): Some early wins against a couple solid opponents give Alert the #2 spot. A strong offense led by the Western Conferences’s leading rusher, MP Hayes. A big battle this week when they travel to Sactown to battle against the #5 ranked rush D.

3) Yukon Silent Pwners (3-0): The Pwners have the #2 ranked rush O with Dynamic Machine leading the way. A very stout front 7 has also earned them the #4 ranked run D. The Boston Knights come into town this week. Despite only 1 win, the Knights bring the #4 ranked passing attack into town.

4) Manitoba Wild Boars (2-1): The Wild Boars enter week 4 after a disappointing loss to the Pwners. They have the #2 ranked offense in the league and the #4 ranked D. They possess the top ranked Pass D, Eye of the Storm hawks the secondary while Julius Istgoil applies the pressure. A strong LB core completes this dangerous D. The Boars look to get back on track when the ShenaniganZ come into town.

5) Cambridge Thunder Cats (2-1) : The Cats have been tough to Pass Against (#2 ranked pass D) and tough to stop on the Ground (#1 ranked rush ). Kix Montgomery is the #3 rusher in the Conference and leads the attack. They draw Albany this week in Cambridge off the taste of their first Victory.

6) Sactown Rage (2-1): Off the heels of their first loss, Sactown gets undefeated Alert coming into town. What will break when their #2 Defense collides with the #3 Offense. Despite giving up yards thru the air, Sactown can create turnovers and make opponents pay (8 Turnovers and 2 TDs).

7) Norfolk’n Way (2-1): The #1 Maniacs come in this week for their first real challenge. Norfolk’n would love to knock them from their high perch. After a week 1 loss to Alert, Norfolk’n has won two straight and would like to show they are a team to reckon with.

8) Lake Michigan Maelstrom (2-1): After a couple challenging games, in which they lost to Cambridge and beat Sactown, the Maelstrom will travel to Peterborough and look to rush their way over the 13th ranked D to their 3rd Victory.

9) Peterborough Goons (2-1): Peterborough will look to take their balanced Offense to Lake Michigan after beating up on the Knights and Roosters. They will have to improve their Defense tho if they want to make it into the playoffs.

10) Toronto ShenaniganZ (1-2): The ShenaniganZ have to go to Manitoba this week against the very angry Wild Boars. Toronto does know how to cause turnovers with 10 so far this year. They will need those turnovers this game or it could get ugly quick.

11) Boston Knights (1-2): Its has been a tough beginning to the season, but coming off their first win they finally have something to get excited about. They have been able to pass the ball as well as stop the pass (ranked #4 in each), But running the ball and stopping the run have been their Achilles. It will be a tough game against undefeated Yukon, they’ll need to fix those rushing deficiencies if they expect to win.

12) Albany Mohicans (1-2): Cambridge will not be easy this week. Albany has not had a lot of positives to start the season, but a last week trouncing of the Heat may be the turning point. They improved in all facets of their game, but will it be enough to stop the #1 ranked rushing attack.

13) Niagara Parrots (0-3): The Parrots take on the 16th ranked Heat this week and try to gain some momentum and gain their first win of the season.

14) Cardiff Cougars (0-3): Two of the 4 Winless teams will earn a victory this week since they all play each other. The cougars have faced some challenging opponents so far this year. Their passing game has been their strength so look for them to attack the Roosters 16th ranked D.

15) London Roosters (0-3): The Roosters weakness (#16 Run D) wont be as big of a liability since they are facing a team that has more success thru the air. The problem is the Cougars (#14 Run D) don’t have to be worried either since the Roosters have the 16th ranked rush Offense.

16) Saguenay Heat (0-3): CPU Starter, after CPU Starter, after CPU starter will mean one thing unless changed: Winless & #16 all year long

Good work. Way to keep #1 proper If I didn't know better, I'd say you're rooting against us in the write-up

Haha, I can never cheer for number 1. Right now I would classify you as the team everyone is gunning for in the Eastern Conference. I apologize if it came off as bias tho.

This is the first time Ive ever posted a Power Ranking. Im open to all criticisms and, even tho Im in this conference, I promise to keep all biases out.

There's nothing wrong with having multiple power rankings. NCAA uses more than one poll... why can't we?
