Checking conservative pathing since both balanced and aggressive suck (aggressive awareness checks are a bit meh and since diving is essentially not something defenders do unless they begin to lack behind, it's unreliable for the most part. Balanced is okay, the awareness checks make absolutely no sense when determining how to play the ball carrier) and it already seems like it sucks even worse. Starting to see more offensive top heavy teams / defensively we need some love.
Look at the FS for starters... and then after you've admired his stupidity check out the SS.

I know pathing doesn't seem like a hot topic to many users, but it's one of the reasons why HBs are able to do what they want. It's dumb to have a back and middle unit that can't even slip properly. After 50, there's not even a big difference between pursuit awareness which is kind of ridiculous. Now that QBs will be better once they're built better, it's time to talk about the glaring issue with HBs.
No I don't mean "nerf" them. They've had some minor tweaks in the past. The problem is that defensively, not much has been changed. Defenders still whiff plays, defensive consistency means jack shit, and much of these skills are essentially garbage (because there's never enough points to go around for them to really matter).
Fix pathing, fix defensive awareness (because honestly from what I've seen, there is too much high awareness defenders around to be so stupid), and lower the costs of defensive SP.
The answer to this shouldn't to also be a team with 36 players. There's no benefit in fielding more (unlike the bs we were told) players, especially when situationally there is no way you can put normal players up against stars and hope for a good outcome.
Not saying defense is broken, it's just stupid.

SS reads and reacts to the TE not being in the play, MLB (as per typical LB fashion) completely ignores the BTE and moves to double the WR1. Any time players are held back, this is generally the same pathing problem with all of the plays. It put players in positions they shouldn't be in, which can be detrimental to the team.

Safety is set to conservative. He reads, but instead of slipping outside to prevent the long run (which is literally the description of conservative wtf), he reacts and does.. well honestly I don't get the though pattern here.

Safety is now on the side of double teaming.
I know I sound 5 talking about pathing, but football is very much a game of angles. Deep balls and outside runs will are going to absolutely eviscerate defenses. I'm looking forward to exploiting it next run, but I also don't want to be on the side that's exploited.
Pathing would go a long way in keeping / putting defenders in position. If they still get burned / beat up its whatever (we saw that all weekend in the NFL), but there are way too many freebies.
