This is one of those Pandora's box ideas.

Offer an option to buy all the SP Boosts / Cap Boosts / AP Boosts up front. Same FLEX price (maybe a small discount) over the life of the Player, but it's paid for upfront.

That way, when players hit higher tiers, they automatically get the boosts.

Then all pre-paid fully boosted players get to join teams at 100 Chemistry. You could start this at Rookie, or Soph if you choose.

You'd improve the Marketplace and you'd deal with roster turnover. You wouldn't suffer any decrease in $ revenues, but more players would play all the way through Vet's 4 seasons. In fact, it may increase revenues as it's an incentive for agents (the customers) to stick around.

People would want Rookie teams (if allowed) of pre-paid fully boosted players to start at 100 Chemistry. Then even if those teams folded down the road, the agents (customers) could switch their players to any other team at full Chem (100).

People will complain it's pay-to-win (or something), but this is a business after all.

This is not a bad idea at all imo... Thumbs up for you!

One issue I see is that I don't need Cap Boosts on a number of my players. So, I'd be paying for something I don't use.

It’s an option.

So you don’t.

The Cap Boosts allow your players to play 4 Vet seasons instead of 2, so they do more than just raise a stat cap by 5 points.

5 instead of 3, I'd not mind it since it's just more option for players - dunno how the devs would feel.

So what happens to the users that don't want to drop 30 dollars upfront for each player?

Also, this is a very convoluted suggestion to remove chemistry.

Tying convoluted things to things we already don't want to do isn't a compromise.

No one really wants chemistry penalties for joining a team during the offseason

I can't 'thumbs up' CDog's posts but I do like how Chemistry works in the game.

As he said in another post, everyone's stats are still at max with 0 Chemistry. Increasing Chemistry gives bonuses to player stats.

When you join a team during the season, you can't expect to have Chemistry with players you've never played with. And, when you join a team during the off-season, you start with 50 Chemistry because you've "had time" to gel with the team. 100 Chemistry means you've been through the trenches with your team during games and know how to function as a unit on the field (thus giving max bonuses to stats).

IMO, leave Chemistry as is.

Interesting....so in pickup games, the players have 0 chemistry and thus have zero bonuses? But if said player has 100 chemistry in a regular game, he gets bonuses. So pickup games are not a very good indicator of an actual 100 chemistry player with the same skills?

Then post your ideas.

Months go by and then we read a Changelog.

How about having posting some ideas of your own?

That's not really how it works? Why would I publicly post suggestions to myself?

I don’t know, maybe so you can have a discussion with your customers where you don’t dunk on ideas or sit in silence until a Changelog post where some things get addressed but a bunch of others never receive a comment?

Just shut the game down.

You complain about processing power and you complain about us.

Just end it and we can all move on.

Don't let any of this distract you from the fact that Pavlov probably thought about feeding his dogs every time someone rang a bell.
