The default Attribute Sharing setting for ALL players (especially CPU) should be: "My team's owner and coaches can view my players attributes"

Having just become a GM of an all CPU team, I have no idea what kind of players I have on the roster. Is it a running or blocking FB? Power or elusive RB (or blocking)? Are my D mostly slanted to zone or man? I have no idea!

Of course, agents can then change it to another setting if they want but this should be a fundamental default so coaches/owners know how to set up a game plan for their team an know how to use each player.

I agree and would like to see the CPU's skills, but this has been asked before and shot down. We will probably never be able to see a CPU's skills.

But, I think, that was about seeing CPU player stats before signing to your team. Once signed it's only fair to know their strengths and weaknesses so you can slot them in the line-up accordingly.

(If adding then dropping unwanted CPU players is seen as an issue then limit how many moves you can make per week during regular season and per day during preseason)

That is the reason and I also suggested something similar.

If you want to build a team with the most optimal CPU builds, go for it IMO. I suspect that even the better CPU builds are not as good as player owned builds anyway.

No, no, don't get me wrong. I don't want to build a CPU player team. I just became GM of one the other day which brought up my suggestion.

I think much of the time you'll have some CPU players on a team and it would be nice to know their stats so you can use them properly in the line-up. However, even for human controlled players it would be good to have the default set to owners/coaches being able to see the player stats.

I actually quite like a few CPU players I work with, one thing CPU never seems to lack is a decent toughness and heart score. They're often slower, but if you get the team rolling they can make pretty decent fill in players in a lot of positions.

Case in point: 2 of the 3 top defense 'performers' for the Deadites are CPU. https://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/team/1053

The CPU CB gets targeted a lot, but he's been as good as his colleges when the time comes to stop the pass.

Either that or it sounds like his colleagues need to learn how to make better builds. KIDDING!

I will say that I've been impressed enough with a CPU punter I found that I retracted the offer I had open for a human made one.

But, like I started off the thread saying, I only wish their builds would be open to owners/coaches once they're on your team so I'd know how to use them. (e.g Zone or Man D? Running, catching or blocking FB? etc.) Right now I'm blind when it comes to making up our playbooks.

CPU generation being visible probably won't happen because they probably don't follow the same rules as regular agents.
