I see some builds with just high tech and low power.. i see some with high on both. I would think they work better together but i have been wrong about so many things in this game. is focusing on one better than focusing on both?

i always focused on prioritizing just one over two.

the benefit would be you will be able to allocate more points onto athleticism and/or run stuffing attributes.

The consensus is that you have to win the blocking interaction with tech before your power can be used to revCake. If you lose the blocking interaction, then power only stops your guy from being pushed further back. High balance (and maybe power?) stops your guy from getting pancaked if you lose the blocking interaction.

I am building a power rushing line right now. I am maxing power and tech...but my player's power max is much higher. I don't put a lot of speed/quickness on my D-Linemen. They are mainly used to revCake/demoralize the O-Line and clog the middle. I play almost all zone so outside runs are stuffed usually and I blitz my safeties/LBs alot.

I've disproven that a few times now with DTs that demolish people with 35 tech. I still tend to take it to 50 so spin cycle can activate decently - but you can operate off mostly power. I also value having some of both in a build overall.

For the most part.

OTs get built a little different than C and Gs, so there is a variation in the skill values but same concepts. DEs sometimes add more Sprinting so they can get to the QB.

DEs are usually Tech > Power because they use Spin Cycle a lot.

Also, being able to stack agility is nice for making not only tech but also quick/footwork cheap and high value. Tech makes it much easier to build with mobility.
