I have asked for this in the past. Let us decide our home playing field and conditions. Let us choose to play in a dome or outside. And if outside, in cold or rainy or sunny locations. I should be able to play in a dome and build fast players where weather does not effect the speed, or play up north where it snows and build tough, powerful players. I should be able to build my team to fit where I play.

Make home field advantage a real home field advantage.

Perhaps there's a reason that despite being suggested every season for the past 5 years that it hasn't happened

Well I will keep suggesting it every time it starts to snow until you implement it

I mean, that's essentially what the suggestion is every time it comes up.

Weather was the most suggested thing for years, then we add it, and the new suggestion becomes get rid of weather.

I'm pretty happy with how it's implemented now. It's predictable and people know roughly what's coming. It corresponds with the traditional football season.

Every time this suggestion comes up, it's always asking for a dome (to turn off weather) or choose the weather so they can min/max the weather.

Like, nobody has even went as far to suggest changes or tweaks to the bonuses and penalties. It's always the same old tired "let me turn off weather for my team" suggestion.

Turn off top end speed negatives, higher penalties to quickness, require balance check to start moving quickly from a hard cut or standstill, make players slide if they fail that balance check and have to pass a footwork check to stop.

I never said "turn off the weather". If you want to play in a dome, then yeah...the weather would turn off. But you could also build your team to play in the snow or rain. You would have a true home field advantage in the playoffs. Or desert like conditions in the heat.

Take the traditional football weather out of it. Think of each team on it's own planet. A planet where it always snows, or always rain, or is always a desert, or always in a dome, etc...

Perhaps you could make the snow a little more transparent. I think it's cool its actually snowing but you can't actually see the yardage markers when its snowing makes following the game a tad hard.

Weather is good for the game. I do think home stadiums that allowed teams to min/max the weather would be great for giving a real home field advantage. Would make regular season games matter a lot more.

And more importantly, playoff games.

You could not include a dome as an option so every team would have to select some type of weather condition.

You could have a drop down box so the agent can select their stadium condition when selecting to buy a team. Even throw in a “random” option.

If I select snow, every home game would have snow. “Time of year” doesn’t matter because I am on my own planet where it snows year round.

I do wish we could pick weather for our stadium. even if it's just a pick one of five type thing.

NE US
-Temperate to Cold (no high heat)
-Rain year round, Snow late
-Average Wind Speed 20 MPH

SE US
-Hot to Temperate/Cold
-Rain & Heavy Rain chance higher at start and end of season
-Average Wind Speed 10 MPH

SW US
-Hot/Temperate Shorter Hot streak at start of season compared to SE US
-Rain at end of season
-10 MPH wind speed with higher early season

NW US
-Temperate to Cold
-Higher chance of heavy snow and Rain at end of season
-Average wind speed 7 MPH

MidWest US
-Temperate to Cold
-Early season higher chance of rain, late season higher chance of heavy snow
-Average wind speed ~10 MPH, Higher during late season
