Anybody ever put spin or juke on a dual threat QB?

Juke, but no spin.

He is a pure running, QB, right? My question more pertains to a dual threat QB. There are so many skills/SAs needed on a dual threat QB.

EDIT: nevermind...I just looked at his stats. He does throw the ball.
Those are some great stats. He does get sacked a ton. Doing better this season though.

Should add - something I've noticed is that between a QB and a HB with equal points in elusive or power running, the HB will break far more tackles than the QB. I think this goes back to what Xars was saying about positions having a baseline skill value hidden behind the SPs we add.

After reviewing your games, looks like the QB only throws screens. Guess he doesn't have anything invested in passing. Even with a S* QB like Holieway, I don't think he has enough investment into elusiveness to warrant spin/juke. He has a good amount invested in passing skills.

Interesting. Breaking tackles is more than just elusive or power running though. Balance, footwork, quickness, stamina, toughness, etc... also play a role in breaking tackles.

Your QB looked pretty bad arse running and juking, though.

Juke works the same no matter the position, but it's hard to make a QB with high Elusive running & Carry Awareness.

Yep, juke's activation rate is so low it's not worth taking unless you have 90+ rush aware.

It might be worth thinking about spin on a pure rushing QB, but not on a dual-threat imo.

Yeah, I would only think about spin for Holieway because it also uses footwork to fire, which he will be high in. He will have some elusiveness, but only about 40.
