How effective is Wide Load? Does it Fire often? I plan on getting it for a few of my linemen.

It fires 100% of the time and it's supposed to slow down un-blocked blitzers an additional 10%+.
I did see a slight benefit on my original rookie team in terms of fewer sacks but I think it needs to be 3* before really being noticeable.

I remember many moons ago some were experimenting with their whole OL taking Gold Wide Load. I think the experiments led to little or no measurable impact. May be worth another round of tests.

Well crap. I’ll probably stay with the plan to silver/gold it on some of my linemen.

It fires 100% of the time so showing it fire is pointless. So, on every play unblocked blitzers have to get through 10%+ more 'drag' going through the O line.

I've watched guys zip right through gaps unflinching time and time again by my OT who has gold in it, seems to have 0 effect.

I believe its modifying the base chance - could be wrong. But if you've run shallow will blitz against Flood Weak from the 2TE set , its usually a sack, still every so often you see the left tackle whose blocking get in the way of hte OLB ..that's probably the clearest play I can think of. I'm pretty sure its working and increasing the base chance of it by 40% at gold.
It largely depends on what your opponent has called and what you have...plus the ones inside the line are a tad harder to see.

This is exactly why I want it... PA Flood Weak is money if the QB gets time. Even our shitty arse offense can complete that pass most of the time.

That play is why I picked it at first, and wideload didn't do a thing from what I saw. Even at gold I see LBs fly by.
