I don't know if this is always a thing on the first day of the off season but I currently can't lower the contracts on CPU players. Can they actually refuse a contract? Assisted Living has a good bit of players joining the team and we're having some salary cap issues. Not being able to adjust CPU players is really throwing a wrench in my plans.

Can CPU turn down contracts?

I'm trying to lower some of them to medium and nothing is happening.

AAAAAAH! Some one help meh! I need to change these CPU contracts! Anyone out there who knows what's happening to me? Am I just dumb? Does this happen all the time? AAAAAAAAAH!

I have seen specific CPU players refuse contracts before. Assuming you are trying to go from Medium to Low, my advice is to try and sign another CPU at the same position and drop the one that is not behaving. Don't do that if trying to go from High to Medium as the new CPU player would start at 50 chem.
