so if none of your bios give you a +% or -%to a stat. what would be the base increase to the stat after each point has been used in it?

Each player starts with the same base statistics in every category. Then each player's stats are added onto it.
An easy example is sprinting. Everyone starts with a base sprinting. I think it's 50? I don't quite remember. Let's just say it's 50. Then the player's stats are added to it.
If one player put 30 into sprinting, then his total sprinting is 50 (base) + 30 (player investment) = 80.
Another player has 100 sprinting, the max, then his sprinting would be 50 (base) + 100 (player investment) = 150.
The sim uses the sprinting numbers 80 and 150 to calculate how fast they move around.
Something similar happens to all the other stats. Each player has a base stat in each category, and then the player's stats are added to it to form the total stats for that player.
Of course, it's not that simple. Sprinting affects acceleration but mostly sets your top end speed. Quickness has just as big, if not a bigger affect on acceleration. Bort has also told us balance factors into the speed equation somewhere. Then you have to remember everything is limited by your energy. At 90% energy you're only running at 90% of your top speed. It's why everybody harps on conditioning.
A lot of stats goes into each calculation.

Definatly an awesome explanation for something i didnt know either.
But what im looking for is, let say your sprint costs you 95xp for your first point added to it. Will the next point cost 100/105? Also is that increase per point for every stat? Not looking for the translation the build is into the sim. Im looking for the base increase within the skill on your skill point screen itself.

I was not aware of the one to one correlation between the energy% and player stats, thanks!

Probably because it's not accurate.

It mostly depends on the skill, skills have different exponential growth values.

would you be able to say a little more;
Is core same growth in all players?
are position skills at a higher growth rate than core skills?
im curious about this to use this information in my end build plans on few tester players. and as always CD, Thank you

Different positions have different caps and different base skill costs for different skills.
I think Stobie's scout tool has datamined most of the exact numbers for his player builder thing.

I thought I read that from you.
Oh well, even if it isn't a direct percentage to percentage calculation, your energy levels do affect your in game speed.
