Idk if this is a bug necessarily, but what is it about end of half drives that the team doesn't want to continue driving when they have both time on the clock and a timeout? I know what you're saying. I've seen the sim decide to kick on 2nd, 3rd down with 1 minute + left in half/ game. I never understood it.

Ya I'd love to have the team drive more instead of settling for 40+ yard field goals when there's plenty of time for couple more plays with a timeout

been sayin this since I started 6 years ago lol frustrating for sure every season I have fingers crossed for a change that never happens an with new changes this season was really hopin it would be adjusted an we are not the only ones lol

I think some of it has to do with what your "safe" field goal range is set at. But I agree, clock management in general is totally broken. I've had my team kick a game tying field goal with 30 secodnds left... We had it 1st and goal from the 1 yard line...
