Hey all, another person back to GLB after a long absence! I took the first iteration of the Austin Slackers to the WL for one season all the way back in S31 (the dots weren't even animated, they would just send the play results after the game to each owner via fax machine!), but I'm back to give things another shot. If you're interested or have any questions, just drop a reply below or shoot me a PM. You should plan on fully boosting and buying CE, plz, and in return you'll get an interested and active owner/coordinator, a very involved HC (Novus), and some fun dotball.

Y'all are gonna have fun on this team, guys. There's a lot of old players coming back to GLB who are trying to re-learn the game on the fly, but Slughead has an advantage they don't have: me. I came back to GLB 10 seasons ago, so I'll be able to help Slughead get back up to full speed a bit sooner than the other owners who might not have help. Both Slughead and I have taken teams to World League before, and Slughead is already using this season to shake the dust out of his AIs so they'll be ready to go for the reset to Rookie next season.

Novus, do you blitz a LB? I have a blitz LB build I've wanted to try for a while...but need somebody to actually use it

I haven't blitzed LBs, traditionally, so I couldn't promise anything. I am open to changing things up, though, so if you wanted to take a shot on that dot and give me some time to work some LB blitzes into the ol' repertoire, I would be down with that.

"Head Coach" in this case means I'll have my hands in a little bit of everything, providing analysis, advice, and feedback, but I'm not planning to do any actual coordinating. That will be done by Slughead himself, unless he chooses to delegate.

I'm not the biggest fan of blitzing LBs personally, but if someone has an effective defensive system that includes LB blitzes, I'm certainly not opposed to any defensive system that works. And I've always been better with offense rather than defense anyway.

hey slug head, i am a returning user myself. started back in 08 but lost my email so had to make new profile. im curently the owner of 2 teams on GLB2 and have spaces open there for any one wanting to make a free player there and try GLB2.

not why im messaging though, i really really really miss the indepth of GLB1 and want to come back to it as well but i KNOW i wont have the time to be owner of teams on both forms of GLB. so what id like is to offer making players for your team. If you have no issues id like to make each O-Line, 1 C LOT ROT RG LG, also the K, Blck TE and FB, Spd WR, and the KR. if no one has any complaints i would make the entire Oline your missing. i played O and D line in real life, little outside backer so i enjoy making those. if youd like to sign me up for a coverage LB ill make him too.

also Spider, id very much emnjoy working with you at STC as your assistant, i was STC for a few teams last i was into GLB but i know the dynamics have changed some and would like to watch/powwow with you over special teams.
