I have a player I want to respec. I've respecced other players before, at say the sophomore or journeyman level. When I respecc'ed, it only let me respec the points I'd earned at that level, not all the points he'd earned throughout career.

So if I wait until the end of this season, it's the offseason, my player has finished his rookie games and just hit the sophomore level. If I respec him then, will it allow me to respec all the points he earned as rookie, or no?

As I understand it, yeah. One time every year to hit rewind on the progress from that prior year. Not sure if you’d get back the initial points or not.

Well, sounds like Bretto knows what's up. So now I wonder if it's worth it to cut my player, respect, rehire, and take the hit on chemistry

I know I wont get the initial back. I think Brett is right, that I won't get the rookie points back as well, once u hit that next tier

Glad someone posted this, as I had a player I planned on respeccing at the end of this season. The respec player page could use a better description than what it provides

Oh THAT'S how it's gonna be huh? lol. Nah when I split my OG team up across a few other teams, some of the players are being used in a different way than the original builds were made for. Like a receiver running WR1/2 spots with slot machine, and an RB that was a dedicated return man with alot of wasted points in return awareness now. (granted I feel return awareness was a waste to start with, never saw any kind of ROI on it, even up to 75 points allocated)
