It wouldn't expire in the middle of the season though.

Weird. Hopefully it's just a bug that gets straightened out quickly.

Mine was set to expire yesterday also, but I renewed it just in time.

actually yes it would.this league started with 5 games to go so 2 years from that day is when they would expire if they bought the minimum package

yes it would, most season 1 teams were bought in the middle of season 1 and they expire on the same day they were bought. that is what happened with Hanoi, it was set to expire around day 20 something so the owner sold it back earlier to let the new owner have time with the new team. Too bad our new owner sucks ass. Any of the teams with a crappy record looking to sign all of the Hanoi starters and replace your own, let me know

Well that's a bit strange. I hope some of you long time GMs of those teams can pm support and take over the team -- I'd hate to see gutting and have like 2-3 more teams become uncompetitive.

Not good at all. Now it's just wait and see what happens. Hopefully the new owner doesn't come in and gut this team.

Well there are a lot of stupid people playing this game, so I wouldn't put it past someone that they become owner, have a bunch of friends, and sign all their friends all while trading away or cuttting the players we have right now.
