Optional defense play calling for 2TE sets based on 1 or 2 WRs similar to what you did for Trips sets.

Drop us to 3 or 2 tiers.

Change Tuck and Run to fire on Pocket Awareness instead of Carry Awareness.

New SA's and adjust/tweak current ones.

I liked the idea of random skill boost to players that dev's suggested, maybe keep it hidden so you don't know what it is to keep people from exploiting the system.

More Shallow 4-3 plays like Middle Overload and Shallow Will Blitz that we currently have. I really like that variation with the Safeties up in the box.

Twins formation WR sets (more chances for Slot SA to fire), Strait T offensive formation, Wing T offensive formation, and Wild Cat formation.

Edit 1:

Add a Shallow 3-4 defensive formation as well, with the Safeties up.

More Zone plays.

Add HoF ranking to a player's page.

My suggestion, look back at previous suggestions... we know they will add new plays, which is good, I like new plays, but how about Bort consider the other options we've thrown at them in previous Changelog threads, that will be great!!

I'd like to have a way to use a mid game adjustment off the game plan. Like if I set for a run offense and its getting shutdown to let's say 2.5 you on 20 or more carries the sim will reverse the tactics or have a secondary set. I dont mean the play from behind setting as I would want it to fire even in a tight defensive game.

Just make it a checkable box in tactics

Like all but the first two which I’m conflicted on.

The 2TE thing makes total sense and should be default. I’m afraid it would make those formations useless though like 2WR when they removed screens.

Similar with the tier thing, I just think the entire system need overhauled and rethought.

Would love to have more shallow plays.

some Zone Shallow plays would be a nice addition as well as the previous things stated. Its been a good minute since we have had some new offensive plays would be nice. maybe some QB runs

The big problem with dropping tiers is that it increases the cost of rookie teams. The player progression model in general needs an adjustment at this point. I still wouldn't mind just going with a "Peewee" one and done league for new agents/casuals, and "Vet" league where player progression is based on seasons played and not tiers. Rookie games are pretty subpar sicne SP is low. Mid-tiers elagues are a grind since half the time you get blownout by upper tier teams. Vet is down to 16 human teams as it is, so why not just form one super tier instead.

I can definitely get behind one super tier. CD knows how to do it, I doubt Bort would ever get on board.

They seem conflicted on revamping the system based on their previous posts which is why I suggested just dropping down to 3 tiers... adjusting the player progression would have to be a given if so. This way Vet could have way more teams to compete and you could still have 2 lower protected tiers for learning the game... but I'm ok with 2 tiers as well.

As far as the 2TE optional stuff, it should have been done with the trips option...I don't think the other hurt and actually helped, feel the same about that 2TE... plus they could draw up more offensive plays on each set if need be I suppose

some Quality of life changes would be cool. The arrow keys controlling next/previous play in the replay viewer, automatically opening your player builds with friends, sorting games chronologically for pickup players, being able to search specific stats in the HOF(most ints on SS for example), being able to search specific stats/initial traits for free agent/cpu players. only show players with Early bloomer for example. or only show players with 25+ bench press. having something in game to build a player to see his min/max stats would be really nice. i currently have like 100+ retired players just from looking at where the stats end up which cant be good for your servers. Letting us delete inactive retired players would help as well.

Letting us at least see cpu players SA's would be helpful as well not a full open build but just those. moving the "help! how do i play?" button off the save button while on a mobile browser would be a great change because its currently opening up the help button every time i save skill upgrades.


changing lead blockers to block the nearest unblocked defensive player instead of pre-determined blocks would be great. increasing the rate at which qbs rollout and scramble on screen pass significantly!! adding the ability for a QB to throw the ball out of bounds on screens that are covered. Throw Away could be an SA even. Risk Averse:* Duration 1 seconds,Powered by pass awareness,20/35/50% Activation Chance,Conditions being pressured or blitzed while passing, +5/10/20 Quickness +5/10/20 Footwork +5/10/20 Dropback Grip QB Throws ball out of bounds.

Not really for season 42 but SA that apply negative SA to players would be interesting. so for example a DE could have the Hopeless SA

Hopeless, Type: Active, Powered by: Intimidation,Condition: When Sacking the QB, Activation Chance: 10/20/30%, Duration: 1 Half, While Active: Opposing QB Rollout & Scramble Frequency set to often. Increase Scramble chance by 25%/50%/100%

Yes, more Zone defensive plays. There are many formations that have no inside run defenses, or no outside run defenses, and there are almost no short passing zone defenses at all.
