This gets posted every once in a while, I post suggestions - like forcing a maximum 'juggle' time where if the player doesn't pass by then he just drops it, or catches it - whatever. To just hard-coding an override that causes those long juggles to be considered a fumble once they go past a certain time length.

I mean... did he make a real "football" move there? He was probably bobbling the ball and was sliding around a lot
It is a double edged sword though. We have all been hit by it and have lost the down because of it. Would suck to be a fumble because 9 out of 10 times, the defenders are there and will scoop it up.

We have all been hit by it and have lost on a turnover because of it. 9 out of 10 times my defenders are there and would pick up that fumble.
Kind of a damned if you do, damn if you don't scenario.

Anything to make this less game breaking.
Not much of a suggestion, since there's already two variants of those in the code.
It's not easily reproducible and there's about 6 different sanity checks from previous "fixes" that should stop it from happening but don't. I've more or less given up trying to fix it.

Sucks, sometimes things just aren't what they seem. May be some kind of bug for when the game registers the catch even beginning somehow.
