I just noticed a LB used trash talk but even with Gold it should only lower QB morale by a maximum of 15. His dropped 47.

Yes but the description for Trash Talk says "Opposing QB loses up to 15 morale before the play"

After rewatching the game I noticed this happened multiple times and it was always way more than 15, like the drop of 47 on the 2nd play. Is the Trash Talk description incorrect?

No, it is correct.

You lose up to 15 morale then modified by Toughness and Intimidation rolls, like most morale effects.

Ok, understood now. Description makes it sound like up to 15 loss, could be less depending on toughness of QB.

Toughness has a double effect against it, though. It has a chance to fully resist the effect, and it lowers the effect itself.
