Surf League Early Predictions
Alpha Division
Whoville Whos/ Something Different
We the North
CPU Tucson Titans
I believe that The Whos and Something Different will battle it out for supremacy in this division. . The Whos are owned and coached by the legend OSIRIS. OSIRIS could retire and live comfortably on all of the championship gold sitting on his mantle. Something Different has become a collaboration of relative new-comers Bizzarro and pvtgripwd. Both Bizzarro and pvtgripwd are coming off of Rookie Championships and are hoping to start a dynasty.
The second place team in this division will have to fight it out for the coveted Wild Card spot amougst a very competitive pool of hungry teams hoping to have the chance to upset a division champ or two.
Beta DIvision
Southside Rebels
Hawaii Bulls
Doomsday Sin
CPU Tulsa Massacre
The Rebels should run away with this division. Owner/coach dredgar will arise from the ashes like the Phoenix and burn all in his way. The Rebels are an early favorite to be in the championship and quite possibly win it all.
The Boss’ Bull with have to hope to be in the thick of the Wild Card race.
Gamma Division
Hartford Marauders
Philadelphia Eagles
Calgary Stampeders
CPU Dallas Slugs
Holy superstar laden roster Hartford! I am jealous. I think it goes without saying...The Marauders should win this division on superstar talent and coaching alone. That is impressive because Philadelphia and Calgary would be division winners in most other divisions. Instead, they will be forced to slug it out for the prized Wild Card. Speaking of Slugs...I think that the Dallas Slugs were appropriately named and they will be lucky to win 1 game this season in the Surf League.
Playoffs…
Southside and Hartford 1 and 2 seed (depending on who wins their head to head match)
Whoville or Something Different 3 seed as Alpha Division Champions
Wild Card...to close to call...too many factors...too much parity, could be any of the following…
Whoville, Something Different, Hawaii, Philadelphia or Calgary.
