Known bug and used to be way worst then what it is now. I think the problem is the game not knowing that Overtime is the last Q. As when its going to halftime it will kick the ball or call a timeout with less with 35 seconds to go same with the 4Q if you are in FG range you set. But for Overtime its almost like the game thinks it has 3 other Q to go.

That being said, its football and you still would try to score, because you're trying to win the game.

Yes but if the game thinks it still has more time its going to not kick a FG when it could get closer or score a TD. Its just a bug in the coding for OT and end of games. It used to be really bad for end of games but they have fixed it some. OT is the problem now

Must be a hard thing to fix.

Yep but I am sure this simulation is a million times more complex than anything i have done.

if it was something easy it would be fixed. Corndog know about the bug and he is trying to fix it and has fixed it to a point.
