If a player had, say, 60 sprinting, gold Tunnel Vision, and gold First Step, could that player situationally benefit from the +10 sprinting, +10 quickness, +8% top speed, and +150% acceleration all the same time? More or less, depending on the way stuff is calculated, my understanding in such a scenario, sprinting would effectively be ~74.8 in such a play ((60 x 1.08) + 10)).

I've tried watching replays with these, but it can sometimes be difficult to decipher exactly what's going on, since the DTs or DEs are just getting off the line, are engaged in a block, or are just breaking off of one.

That combo is great for a blitzing LB coming untouched off the edge. It's not very good for a DE/DT that is going to run directly into a blocker. Just my two cents.

Well, the thing that got me all interested in this was that I've noticed that for the DEs I've built that use the gold First Step, gold Spin Cycle DEs I've built, they're both more consistently good pass-rushing against some types of OT builds and are actually in a better position to prevent outside runs using combo tactics--especially for the DEs that have lower footwork in order to spend those SPs on higher quickness.

My thinking was that if the above seems true for niche build styles, if something similar could work with gold TV and high enough sprinting and enough quickness and balance (maybe even some pursuit to overcome high awareness OTs?) to turn the corner without losing speed. If a DE could make a build like that work, there may even be a lot of SP saved that would have otherwise gone into PRT.

Hmm. Wish I could see the builds. It would have been interesting to see if the min/max could have been pushed farther by maybe using Early Bloomer. All of the playing around on GLB2Scout I've done makes me wish I could just test out a bunch of niche builds superstar dots. It might be off-topic a bit, but I think people avoid experimenting too much with builds because it can take months at a time to build up enough for just one dot. By that point, a lot of people just hop on the min/max meta because it's safe..
