really tough to make a decent power wr now that balance and quickness have so much influence in speed and tackle breaking. when you could ignore both for power running it was worth it. as it is hbs hardly break tackles so trying to make your wr do so is an entirely new level of good luck.I tried this with a TE once, but was underwhelmed by his ability to break tackles.

Then again, I didn't throw to him a ton back then either. Probably would be more viable in today's meta. The big negative is how long it takes to get power into the 90's, and the lack of speed you can put on a power WR/TE.
