i think this would be pretty cool if you could create an off. depth by formation that way the right players are in the right slots for the right plays

This would make offense waaaay O.P. This would then trigger the defense assigning coverage per player, then an offense counter, etc...

If i recall correctly, they had different offensive depth charts for each formation in the closed alpha version but it was too easy to abuse with swapping out running QBs and passing QBs in different formations.

Yeah, on some level I do like the idea of being able to have the separate depth charts for each formation, particularly for moving around WRs, which I don’t think would (or even could) be abused too much. However, in order to do it they would pretty much have to remove all QB run plays or limit each team to only having one QB on the roster.

This would be the only way to do it. Without defensive tags there would be no way to counter what the offense is doing. I don't want defensive tags because it takes way to much time.

Yeah, I already spend way too much time on this. If we had to start tagging in order to be competitive I’d be done with this.

Bort didnt like how bad we abused this on the test server.

Makes sense but its unhealthy for glb.

Won’t happen causes to many problems when offenses are already dominate
