Most of the people that buy the team also want to be the Head Coach. Not always.
However, if you have a player on the team, most owners are willing to let someone start off as the Special Teams Coordinator, or something, which can rapidly move to OC or DC, depending on which the HC does doesn't really care for.
Just ask the owner of the team... and it does not flex.
If you are on a D-League team, they are all CPU teams... they do not have any player coaches.
