When you create a player, there is a box checked to have the player "catch up". Meaning whatever experience point in the season people are at, your player can be on the same level and start playing.
If you uncheck the box, then he'll start from scratch regardless how far along the season is.

Remember a couple things. Balance has become more important than it use to be when those build examples were created.
Also, I will see if it's ok to bring you on ComiConz as a "special teams coach". This would give access to our team forums and can discuss somethings with us and ask whatever other questions.
