Right now senior league is just a drain on the servers and a place for flex to be 'parked' it gains nothing overall for the dev side and only adds to server costs.

So instead of just having players go there forever, maybe we can let players give a 'buy in' off their retirement flex return to give a player a certain amount of seasons in senior league - even give people an option to 're-up' the player if they want to for the same cost this time taken from flex total. This way people are paying more for more games simmed, and yet also it frees up the flex to be used on other players.

If you want to go even further give people the option to 'sponsor' a senior league team and choose very generic playbook types for the team to play - as well as give them the option to send contracts (only send, not terminate) to players. Then people could get excited about the league and you could make money from the sims already happening.

Well as a person that hasn't had money to dump into this game since he quit his job for his girlfriend and makes $6 less and hour.

I for one would have no reason to keep playing anymore.

But it seems like a good idea other than that.

Free players should get the buy-in free, for the first run. And with all the flex you get back that is parked in the league it helps you re-invest in DTs like I do!
