As some teams know, others who do not.
Today was Shadow-Walker's last game ever as a Defensive Coordinator is GLB.
He is handing the defense of Pirates Of Balls Deep and the Detroit Deadite's to me and I will become his official protege in the GLB world.
He started GLB2 back in Season 2 and started doing Defense back in Season 9 with the Michigan Madness. Also ran defense and had championship wins with Acheron Xenos, The Xenos, Did a little defense on Bloody Slaughterhouse, Won 3 Straight Ladder and League seasons with Pirates Of Balls Deep (6 total). Won multiple championships on Detroit Deadite's and some ladder championships. With Detroit we won league championship 6 seasons in a row.

Wanted to take a moment to say best wishes to Shadow-Walker, wish him luck with his upcoming marriage and tell him we are going to miss all the competitive games he was apart of in this game! He is just going to be building players from here on out and putting his coaching record to rest at 1138-509-7 (14 Champ). 540-184-4 and 10 Championships as a Defensive Coordinator.

Great career brother! You deserved it!

SW you will be missed dearly as a defensive coordinator - thank you for being such a steady and reliable coach on the teams we've worked together on.

Hopefully the married life will still give you the time to come say hi to us on the forums. All the best wishes and congratulations on the magnificent career.

if marriage means you can't GLB anymore, you are marrying the wrong woman...I mean that seriously

if it's another reason, so be it...just don't let it be that

Haha no bro, she actually doesn't want me to quit coordinating cause she seen how much I enjoyed it, but I agree whole heartedly with you. No person should take another's enjoyment away. It's more a time thing with me and slightly getting burnt out. I want to just sit back now and enjoy making players.

Why are we acting like he's leaving. I mean users hand over game planning duties all the time so why is it such a big deal this time? If he really wants to he can still gameplan against important teams, so what era is being ended

He has chosen not to gameplan against any teams anymore TyDavis. I am making a big deal about it because it is a coach who is stepping down who has had a great amount of games that were worth watching.
He dedicated endless hours into the game to help others. That is selfless. He took the time to teach, time out of his day to Scout and plan. Sure others do the same, but maybe they don't get recognized because they are arrogant, because they do not help others, maybe because they get pissy when they lose and have no character, maybe they don't take the time to make friends in this game that want to make a post to shed light on them?

Either way, this post was to congratulate him on his success in the game, and to wish him well with his marriage coming up and to allow people to say their goodbyes to him as a coach.
We did not make a national holiday about it. People simply did not know he was done coaching and I am sure people would have liked to wish him their best.

Similarly I paid my respects in past post to Jakedood and Greg for the beginning of my GLB2 experience and helping me learn the game. I understand where you are coming from with the post, and believe it's good for us "newer" agents to pay our respects to those agents that helped us most in creating our own images. Good luck Shadow-walker and glad to see you sticking with the game in general though.

Not gonna lie, I was wondering the same thing. I just saw his name pop up in recent seasons but the name change is what threw me off!
