I am not exactly sure what trash talk you are referring to... Just about every time I see an owner that is less experienced, he/she is typically offered all kinds of help if needed.you also say to be cool with trash talking but not trash talking when it comes to championships and such? I am all sorts of confused by this post.

I see now that I was all over the place and my point was lost.

If a new user asks for help they receive it, this is true. But there are users who aren't new or old that have had solid seasons but no championships. I've seen these guys get ragged on when they try to be a little light hearted about a situation.

For example, I literally just read Shadow-Walker and Defoa rag on Xtapl (it was about 10 days ago but I get to the league forums late). Going back into the conversation all Xtapl said was that maybe the pirates did have to worry about D'Haran still (they lost to them, that's the whole jist) and they completely flipped out on him for no valid reason. That's not cool.

And no, I was saying that we didn't really have much people in their feelings back in the day, everyone talked shit. Even the guy with the kicker just for kickoffs would get in on the action. And of course there was hurt feelings for those big games, I was just pointing out that that was about the only time you'd see someone really get upset.

We have gave deevee8 shit for years now because he never got a championship as an owner! Not gonna disagree but at the same time look at forums I tell GE to fuck off at least once a month. But I actually enjoy GE because he is entertaining and good for glb2. Any of the old greats don't down the new guys. When I was new rob and I talked all the time. Detroit has helped more than I can count. I have given a ton of advice. Shadow is reaching a new guy rhoyle, kinda new, stuff now. Hayrow talks shit to everyone that's hayrow! Deevee8 will tell everyone he will run down their throat. My point is most of us true old guys on here don't talk down to new guys we are usually the helping ones

I wasn't ragging on xtapl. Learn to read. I don't care for arrogance and I stated that to him. I'm just a straight forward give a gg to the person or team and move on. I don't care for trash talk.

Don't get me wrong, I will not take away what Xtapl has done with Denver. Hell he has the only undefeated team in Professional after 9 games. That is amazing for a new user who barely post in the forums.
I think the whole thing between Xtapl, Defoa, and Shadow goes back to last season or even the season before.
If you can't take shit, don't give it out guys.

A ton of older veterans support new agents. They want to see this game go on, and to help build better competition for each other.
So what if a guy brings up the amount of trophies his team has won, they won them in my eyes they can brag about them. If a guy brings them up while talking shit, then that should add more fuel to the fire of the new agent to show them they can win championships as well.
I have been back on this game for going on 4 seasons now and I would not be where I am today if it were not for the Veteran agents who have helped me along the way, yourself included TyDavis. And I am very thankful for that. I am always appreciative of any critism and thank everyone for helping me, even if it is just one question answered.
I don't talk shit because to me, I have not earned that right yet with the team I own, as for the teams I coach that is a different story.

I do not have any issues with trash talking at all. It creates awesome forum fodder for me to read for entertainment purposes. I think I recall xtapl talking some trash in the forums though and I am not sure what was said at all but, if you talk trash you have to eat your words at times. I love that xtapl is fired up about his squad and has talked a bit of trash as it adds something to the forum as I said. I also know that shadow-walker is a pretty chill and down to earth guy based on chats and interactions that I have had with him in the past... Probably some type of misunderstanding there if I had to guess. Xtapl had multiple questions answered before firing up this squad as well.

Bottom line, bring the trash talk if that is who you are. It does not matter if you are new, experienced or somewhere in between. It is fun for everybody! I think that most of the trash talkers have dealt with eating their own words or just get tired of talking trash at certain point though (GE is an exception here) and roll on to the next place to take their persona. This is likely what has left the forums with GGs all over the place and little trash talk.

Woah, don't get me wrong guys. I love the shit talking and I personally know how everyone is after all these seasons.

My thing is that these guys are newer, they don't know how we all are yet.

I personally enjoy watching it between the new guys. However, my thing is that it kinda comes off as harsh when we do it to the newer guys. Like if GE was new then I'd defend him, but considering he's not... fuck him.

Basically what I'm trying to say is let's just soften up on them a bit

I always wondered why the level of communication and trash talk has gone down and why users go mute, don't engage in forums, etc. or the most part, the problem isn't fully on the game. Its also on a lot of you veteran assholes as well.

Enough with the fucking championship talk, its depressing that that is the only retort you all have. If a user wants to trash talk to lighten the mood then go along with it or tell them that it'll be settled on the field. And if you lose a fucking game a someone says something about it then grow the fuck up.

Stop being dicks, maybe in the suggestions how about you suggest a change in attitude. You guys are demoralizing people who just want to have fun by telling them if they aren't stacking in the rings department then they aren't relevant. In the early seasons, when everything was great, anyone trash talked. It was fun and no one got into their feelings (unless it was a championship game or a game to determine the top ladder spot) so why do you think its cool to rag on the newer guys now? A lot of them are better owners than you think, especially considering they've done everything on their own. You wouldn't know that because you discriminate against them. You guys don't want new users to prosper at all, your in love with the stat pad games and don't care about this game's future. As long as your getting your little championship badges your fine.

Get your shit together guys, its actually pretty disrespectful a lot the the times. I've noticed a few of the users take it very personal and stop playing. Let's not forget that its not all older guys playing, there are kiddies on here too

TLDR but you whine way too much, get off your soapbox.

its a competitive game and if you're not first you're last. SHAKE N BAKE. that just happened.
