INT's are way up, as advertised.

I'm wondering if weak-armed QB's run a higher risk, or is it all on the defender's Awareness, Quickness and Int ability?

I think its both. Higher int vs low pass power and high man or zone awareness in man or zone situations results in more picks.......at least that's how it looks to me. Going to be more Interceptions regardless but adjusting DB's sp distribution towards INT will make a diffierence and adjusting pass power on qb's will help prevent INT's. I think adding 10 to 15 more will be enough. Any more I think will hurt. Not sure of that but from what I've read people have said high pass power hurts you. Never tried it on my own guy so I dont know first hand.

High pass power is bad? I understand its not the most valued skill but I didn't know it was a bad thing. What's the level it begins to hurt the team?

Depends on what tier you're at, as well as how good your receivers hands are.

From what I've seen so far it depends on a lot of factors besides just "at x Pass Power it's not good anymore."

You can run a high pass-power QB through pickups and get a pretty good idea of when it's useful. Catching a receiver as he makes the cut on his in route 10 yards down the field is much easier when you're throwing laserbeams.

BUT, some other routes it's not so great. A floaty rainbow the WR has to come back to get on a deep post in single coverage is sometimes better than throwing a straight-line pass directly into the numbers of the trailing receiver, or into the hands of a Linebacker who happened to be standing underneath.

I suppose it has its reputation because pretty much every other QB skill is "well I definitely could use more of that!"

It's not that it's bad more than it's kinda a waste of sp. higher pass power seems to lower the height of your passes and thus results in higher frequency of interceptions from underneath coverage. just my observations from using high powered qbs.

I liked the point investment up until about 40 or so on my previous QB. Put a little zip on the ball but didn't make my QB attempt to throw a hole through the chest of any nearby Free Safety.

When is comes to ints, people tend to forget receiver skills. Players with low CiT are a big liablity, especially if they're slow and unable to get separation. As for QBs, I would say accuracy is #1 at preventing ints. Pass power is great if you got speedy WRs too, especially in iso situations. But wouldn't go over 60 SP.
