I've almost no knowledge on journeyman, so may have to skip that tier, sorry guys

Bacon League - Alaskan Assassins v Galactic Empire of the 80's
In their first match, Assassins recorded a blowout win due to GE's inability to pressure the QB, and stop the speed and receiving abilities of deadliest catch, assassin's creed and polar bear, allowing the assassins offense to tear him up, while gaining no traction at all through his running game. His offense will have to step up, big time, and light snow may help him a little in that regard, with the penalty to consistency and morale. However I just cant see him having the ability to stop them with his zone, as he'd need to score about 35 points to even compete, and his offense has proved incapable of that v top class opposition this season
Verdict: Assassins by 40
Cheddar League - Central Falcons v Whoville Who's
This is going to be tight as hell... I feel the difference will be made on who's running back performs best in Vagrant Juggernaut or Bryan Habana, and if the Jalen hurts threat can be shut down by whoville then that'll be a big bonus for them. His dual threat nature and scrambling abilities are impressive but in the snow, I think they'll need more out of their rushing offense, I cant see them being quite as effective with the pass due to the dual threat side of him, but Contingency plan should be able to keep his side motoring in the aerial game. It'll be a tight ass defensive struggle, likely coming down to a few plays here and there... who to win though?
Verdict: Whoville by 4
Mushroom League - Passive Electronic Warfare v Kentucky Mountaineers
Kentucky are definite favourites for this one, 2nd in tier, undefeated in the league and a 56-17 victory in their earlier contest. PEW have the offensive weapons to make trouble for almost any team, the question is can they keep up with the mountaineers scoring wise, and can their defense hold out, make some clutch plays? Notoriously its Deevee's weakness, but he held southside to just 33 points, if he can keep Kentucky down to a similar score, they're definitely in with a chance. Kentucky's defense has been rock solid, so a few big plays fdrom dayumdatboifast and Ben gone. Bob Murdock II has been in fine form as well, and expect him to nail at least 2 big counter plays with the outside rush, and Randle Carter at TE has been a real rock on offense, 3rd downs and long he just gobbles up
Verdict: Kentucky by 15
PROFESSIONAL
Air League - Bloody Slaughterhouse v Korriban Sith Academy
An intense rivalry here, Dredgar does raise some cracking defenses v Galactic Empire, I'm not sure if he's ever lost, or maybe lost only once to them? Previous meeting was a 17-3 victory for the slaughterhouse, and again GE needs to get those big scoring plays firing, or else he will struggle, especially with the Receiving game of the slaughterhouse against his zone, they can almsot be guaranteed to rack up 20 od points, not an insurmountable total, but requiring a good performance from the likes of Plagueis and Bane, and maybe to wear down their defense with Sith Power HB, in light snow he could maybe get one big long TD from him
Verdict: Slaughterhouse by 10
Water League - Detroit Deadites v Music City Miracle
Another interesting contest.. Music City have been going heavy on their ground game, lots of inside rushing this season, Axl Rose getting a lot of carries. However the detroit defense was built to stall the rushing game, and have one of the most impressive defensive co-ordinators in glb marshalling them. Offensively, deadites have a serious dual S* rushing threat, with the S* wr and S* TE both very very reliable in the aerial game, meaning they'll be incredibly tough to stop and hold out. Music City are going to need to be water tight on defense (pun intended) and hold the deadites to around 25 to win, at the very most, but I cant see them doing it unfortunately
Verdict: Deadites by 25
SOPHOMORE
Chardonnay League - FBU Thrashers v Oregon Ducks
Dont know too much about these guys, will say FBU Thrashers pulled off a huge shock by knocking out D'haran, their defense was absolutely superb, vs both the rush and pass. Oregon ducks came through a tight encounter with FBU blaze, and will need another tight performance, though they will believe they have the edge after a 23-21 victory earlier in the season. This one could go either way, and the passing offense of Oregon ducks is where I think the difference could be, FBU just dont quite have the same offensive power unfortunately.
Verdict: Oregon Ducks by 5
Merlot League - Royal Navy Midshipmen v Pirates of Balls Deep
The big question is how much the pirates like these female sailors on board, and how deep into their reserves are they willing to go? Royal navy with a heavy CPU roster has been effective in containing offenses, while throwing a heavy pass offense, although they do possess a dual threat QB on their roster which could be interesting to change things up. Pirates of balls deep have a strong S* WR in Jack Williams, and chicken will be hoping to be be let run amok on the Navy Ship. The highlights of both these teams is their defense however, and thats how I see this one playing out, and it could come down to a touchdown or two, dont believe the earlier season scoreline, as gameplans will no doubt be much altered.
Verdict: Pirates by 8 (Yarrrrrrrrrrrr)
ROOKIE
Zeus League - Gods of Destruction v Practise Squad
Interesting encounter here.. Two/Three top agents in Myself, mcLovincowboys, and BoDiddley competing, and arguably despite the earlier season victory for GoD's, Practise Squad was in fact the much better team in that game, they just couldnt get the red zone rolls. Both teams have adjusted chemistry wise now and it should be a much more tactical battle, rather than luck deciding the winner. Can Hades get the run game going for GoD's? or will they nead to rely on Apollo and their Receiving corps, of whom Kamapua'a Ozorn is shining brightly, along with Bernie Mac who's also been turning his levels up with some big big receptions. The Practise squad have been pass heavy all year, though I wouldnt be surprised if bodiddley has a few rushing tricks he's kept up his sleeve for now, with Tecmo Shane Falco the league MVP, and his TE/WR really leading him off nicely, and taking the pressure off his defense. On the other side of the ball, McLovincowboys is back after being busy for over half the season, and he's hungry or a title to start off this reset run, though stopping the pass completely is a tough order for sure. Bodiddley again will likely be using some good D-line pressure to try and contain the pass, with some good coverage in behind, alert to the rush and deep bombs, but which team will come out on top?
Verdict: GoD's by 6, tight encounter but they're really on form. And Im biased
Poseidon League - Bronx Bombers v We love Bacon
Interesting game in that We love bacon have been very predictable in how they've played all year, very strong no doubt, led by Borq and his MVP boys, he's been getting some crazy sack numbers with his blitzer, it all depends on whether Bombers and Derek Jeter can navigate their way around C3 tiger to take advantage of it, and actually make use of him being out of position, and also the zone nature of the blitz.. theyve proven very ahrd to repeatedly gain success against, and they go very very well as a unit, but i think the Bombers offense could light up in the big game. In contrast to bombers balanced offense, the Bacon Lovers are all pass, and good at it too, exploiting some deep routes to try and take advantage of the % game, making it almost impossible to totally shut them out, however Bombers defense is no easy thing to get through, so Im going to edge them in this game
Verdict: Bombers by 12
Apollo League - Popeye's Spinach v Michigan Wolverines
No Question on the favourite for this game, with Popeye dishing out a 52-3 resounding win earlier in the season. Michigan will really need to scout well on how to prevent popeye's runners from making those big Touchdowns, containing them isnt easy but its possible for sure.
Popeye's defense has gone well this year, Bhall always runs a steady, tight ship on that front, so its no surprise, and honestly I just cant see the wolverines having enough to deal with the threat of white walker, Eraser, etc, i feel they'll simply over blitz and it could cost them
Verdict: Popeye by 50 (sorry zoey)
