Yes, this is still Rookie, so I'm trying to get it together for a long-term solution.

Where do I need to put points to stop this from happening? It seems to happen a lot on this particular play. My WR gets open, catches the ball, then takes 700 years to turn and accelerate. For now, I'm thinking I need to boost Footwork, but maybe I'm thinking about it wrong?

Thoughts?

Screens are not that great in rookie. It takes a while to develop a screen WR.

On my screen receivers I like at least 50 balance, 60+ agility, 40+ footwork, 85-100 sprinting, carry awareness, and some elusive running.

Which is the opposite of a down the field WR.

Screen WRs need balance, down the field don't.
Screen WRs need footwork, down the field don't.
Screen WRs need high Sprinitng, down the field don't. (Well less).
Etc....

Screen WR's honestly don't need footwork or very high balance. Sprinting is huge tho.
