Anyone who promotes to AA next year will get crushed. This thread has been going on and has gotten no answer from admin.

Please post your support on this thread. Like it is a collection of signatures from all of Canada A.

Maybe this will get their attention.

Canada A does not want to promote until we have had a non capped year.

Next year we will be uncapped, and most players on teams are still un-boosted 10-13 as far as levels.

Not saying someone will win it all, or even make the playoffs, but a few teams can win a few AA games.

mlbtrader...have you looked at the level of the AA teams??? Most of them are lv17+ across the board. I have a solid team that will contend for a championship in Canada A#1. Even my team or the other top 2-3 teams in our league that have signed mostly higher level players wouldn't even compete against the 13th place team in Canada AA#1. Gameplanning will only carry you so far. If you have a team core that you've put together having to rip that apart to compete shouldn't be the ideal of the game. I agree with the proposal for a 1 year hold on promotions for Canada A leagues. We can't compete:

1) on the field without tearing apart the teams
2) financially, we've not had a chance to build stadium yet
3) chemistry, most of us will be lucky to have 75 chemistry by the end of our shortened season.

I know we're not the greatest of teams yet but If you can get your Chemistry up you will be fine competing in the Canada AA next season. With our players moving up to or pass lvl 17, we can compete with teams just a few lvls higher than us. I think it can be done, Obviously I'm not saying a championship will happen but you won't be 0-16 or even 3-13 if your team is run right. We can compete with them once our player start moving up in lvls and we don't need to be uncapped because soon every level will have a cap except the Pros. Ours is 13, AA may end up being like 18, and so on... To say we NEED to have a season of uncapped signees is against everything the competitor in me stand for. Players go from H.S. to College because its the next step then College to Pros because its the next step, some excel and some don't. This game is the same way, Some of us will do well and some of us won't.

Have you looked at the levels of the Canada AA leagues? Those teams have starters across the board between 17-22 now. That's not the top teams I'm talking middle of the pack and lower. Those teams will be lv 20-24 next season (if they don't boost). So if they boost they'll be 23-27...no way one of our teams can go in and compete next season without tearing apart, restarting and losing all chemistry.

Where do the players go then once they cannot be signed in the pros?

Eventually people are going to hit that upper rung and cannot go higher because the pros are all filled out. Same will eventually happen for the middle rungs.

Yea I see that. Some teams aren't that great, some will kill us.

Unfortunately by way of rules they might bring up the champion game teams, but hopefully not.

We'll see.

Different situation...Africa AA was created the same season as Africa A. Canada AA has been around a few seasons.

Regardless, Africa AA to AAA would be the same situation, but that entire continent was created at the same time, so they don't have the issues we've discussed here.

The discussion is aimed at the wrong continent is all. Western Europe has the other A league cap. They are also in the same situation with AA and AAA being around longer. Africa will or should be the last region to get an A league and by then will probably be in the same boat. Honestly i dont think its right to cap a league at 13 and expect the teams that will get promoted to be effective without destroying their chemistry and rebuilding to fit with the much higher lvl frame. With another year of the A leagues being locked (no demotion into or promotion out of) Then because of the slower lvling curve of higher players it is within reason that teams can stand a decent chance.
