Canada A #1 - Week 4 Predictions

Western Conference

Rocky Mountain Gladiators (2-1) vs. Moose Factory Mounties (1-2) (24-21)
Moose Factory pulls up to .500 following a closely contested match, as both teams rush for 150+ yards but a FG at the end wins it for Moose Factory.

Windsor Walruses (3-0) vs. Toronto Moose (1-2) (40-6)
The Walruses put up a fourth straight win following a old fashioned beatdown of the Toronto Moose.

Manitoba Tigers (0-3) vs. Northern Polar Bears (3-0) (66-3)
The Northern Polar Bears remain undefeated following a huge blowout over the hapless Manitoba Tigers.

Alberta Gangsters (0-3) vs. Lyon Predators (0-3) (37-6)
In a battle of the winless Lyon easily rolls to a victory over Alberta.

Tomahawk Laser Cats (2-1) vs. Saskatoon Screaming Eagles (2-1) ( - )
I have abstained from predicting the game, as I GM for the Screaming Eagles, but I've included the game incase anyone wishes to copy my format.

Village Dogs (2-1) vs. Yukon Blaze (1-2) (33-17)
The village Dogs beat up on the Blaze riding a nice performance from HB Justin Destructable.

Toronto Eh (1-2) vs. Charleston Black Dragons (1-2) (21-17)
Charleston gets back on track following a win over Toronto Eh

Game of the Week

Montreal Knights (3-0) vs. Winnipeg Flyers (2-1) (17-13)
In our game of the week we see Montreal win a tight one over the Flyers while allowing there first points of the year.

Canada A #1 - Week 4 Predictions

Western Conference

Rocky Mountain Gladiators vs. Moose Factory Mounties (28-13)
Rocky Mountain Galdiators strength and great Running game will get the best of the Mounties winning a fairly close game.

Windsor Walruses vs. Toronto Moose (70-7)
The Walruses will be way too strong and continue their winning streak to 4. They have very good starters, chemistry and depth which is a lot better than the Moose's. Shutout.

Manitoba Tigers vs. Northern Polar Bears (3-77)
The Northern Polar Bears will remain undefeated. My team played them and their defense including a lvl 16 DT will be much to strong for the Tigers who will be LUCKY if they get 3 points.

Alberta Gangsters vs. Lyon Predators (0-33)
Lyon still don't have a win but they do have a pretty formiadble team. They have mainyl lvl 8's and such but at least they aren't dead CPU's like the Gangsters who hardly even have a owner. Shutout

Tomahawk Laser Cats vs. Saskatoon Screaming Eagles (24-28)
Very Very close team as both teams are evenly matched. I wouldn't like to see The Eagles win because they are way above us where as the LC's are pretty close to us. Is going to be a very close game but I think The Eagles top notch secondary defense will be too much.

Montreal Knights vs. Winnipeg Flyers (28-3)
Montreal defense will be too strong for the Flyers. The Flyers do have a respectable team but the Knights are the favourites for the West Conference Championships and I can't see them giving up a loss here.

Toronto Eh (1-2) vs. Charleston Black Dragons (14-33)
Charleston get home with a win putting them in the top 8. Their defense and passing game will be too much for the Eh's.

Game of the Week

Village Dogs vs. Yukon Blaze (28-27)
Game of the Week IMO. The dogs will be too strong for the Blaze in a very close encounter. The Dogs started off with a loss but have rekindled the spirit and will be back to 3-1 after this game.

This seems backwards...I thought the media was supposed to have an East Coast bias?

You probably have a better team than us and we beat them 57-7.

Hopefully it turns out that way for us. I'd like an easy game after our last two.

I'd still like to see a Wk 4 prediction for the East. We actually have a tough matchup for week 4. Kingston took a tough loss to Ajax, but I think they'll be our first true test after our first 3 games were track meets. Our score in week 3 was a bit deceptive as our defense essentially shut them down for 3 quarters and the backups gave up 2 TDs in the 4th. 50-20 is nice, but I'm trying to figure out if my D is getting too tired, or if it is just the "favor backups" setting that is getting us.

league games really dont matter much, until you get to the playoffs.
You could be the 8th seed in the playoffs, and still walk away with the trophy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

League games do matter...Being a #1 or #2 seed gets you more revenue. More revenue = more stadium in the offseason. That matters!!
