Let's get this thread started. What do you want to see addressed in the off season?

Weather...do something about it
I would prefer for each team to select the climate they play in. Home field advantage would be huge in the playoffs.

Show us STATS
Give us a page we can go to and search for all time stats (this should have happened a looooooong time ago!!!!)

Split 2 TE and 3 WR Defense
I should be able to select a different defense for 4-4/4-4 Big and 3WR/Trips. I want to run specific defensive formations vs 4-4 and other specific ones for 4-4 Big. Currently they are clumped together when creating my defensive playbook.

Adept SA
Start with 3 instead of 2. Nobody wants 2 bronze SAs when you can Gold a Silver

Combine 2 lower tiers
I would prefer to combine rookie and sophomore. Start at sophomore (rename the tiers to make sense) with all the SPs and SAs up to that point. So many problems would be fixed here. The ladder would be more fun and competitive. Users would get to Vet faster. And most importantly the Academy can line up with 1980s for a clean transition

Fix the ladder
The above suggestion would help. But also, only play inner tiers opponents, unless you are so far ahead that you can actually compete with upper levels. Make it where you cannot play a team 2 tiers or more above.

Add a few more SAs
New SAs are always wanted.

Add more zone plays that help vs trips
It's hard enough to play the pass with a zone coverage. Make some plays that move players over towards trips.

Send a PM when a scrimmage is set up
I know this feature exists but it's broken because I have a box to check that says to send me a PM when a scrimmage is set up with my team. I have never received a PM. This would help teams get ready for a "sneak attack"

More plays out of Diamond formation
i was pretty excited when this formation was created. However, there are very limited runs for the FB.

Implement the option
Im always gonna ask for this

Fix end of game/half tactics
We all have seen these issues. It bit me in the butt a couple of times this season.

Fix Pick 6
It doesn't work. I created a pick up player and Gold it right off the bat. Had several INTs through his career and it never fired once. Change it to fire off INT or something other than balance.

Im sure I'll think of some more.

A couple issues with your post. I don't understand what you are trying to say about the 2TE & 3 WR thing.

Next, as for zones vs trips, honestly that becomes your own fault for running plays that get beat by that. Why would they make 1 play that will beat everything. And Zones will be trash against any bunch formation. How about instead, you invest in more normal players on the roster for depth, then you can build seperate Man Defenders for your 3WR sets. Wouldn't be that hard to do, you just substitute them in for your 3-3-5 package or Dime or whatever you choose to run against it. Figure this out dude, Man is stronger against Passing than Zone. Zone is stronger against Rushing than Man.

YES! The Ladder Matchup system is outdated and needs to be updated to current users and system.

This season ladder was better, at least on vet, but playing the same team 3-4 times isn't that good.

Ladder matchups are silly anyhow.

Why not just have cross-league matchups rotating in their place and have a large power ranking be the 'ladder' for those games.

Defensive co-ordinators know what I am talking about. When setting up a defensive game plan and selecting plays, you select which defensive plays to run vs:

two receiver
three receiver
four receiver
five receiver
2 TE
Goalline

three receiver = all offensive sets with 3 WR
2 TE = all offensive sets with 2 TE

As you can see, it does not distinguish between 2 TE Big and 2 TE. Same with trips/3 WR. They need to add 2 more categories, trips and 2 TE Big.

Should they also break down the 2WR sets to weak I, Steong I, I and Pro as well then? I don't see this happening.

If they added the 2 sections in defensive play calling, like my response to your post, it would help me tremendously as I could then set my defensive playbook vs 3 WR with more precision.

No, because that isn't much of a position change. You just moving the running backs around a few feet. There is a HUGE difference in trips vs 3 WR, when the WR is set up on the other side of the field. Same with Big TE.

Defenses try to match up the personnel on the field and do not know if they will go trips or standard 3WR until the offense lines up out after the huddle. It is just not how things work.

But a D can also adjust to a bunch formation after alignment. Don't have that option in this game as is.

But it's more of an issue as GE plays zone.

Thread changes that sound good:
-Homefield decides weather region
-Deeper stats. Both player and team. A shame we don't have ways to look us past seasons like we should.
-Give Adept SA 3 points
-Combine lower two tiers(start players out with what they would have in Soph). Think its time
-More SAs, or even tweeks to current ones. Hail Mary should make a Power throwing QB more viable, for example.
-4th down tactics, especially in the 4th quarter


Would add some from suggestions:
-Display icon for all-star selections in Awards.
-Add awards stats to main player page
-Create PuPs at any level

I hope to see a lowered time requirement for attempting late game FGs. Right now it seems like a FG attempt will fire inside of 30-35 seconds remaining when there is time to run a play and trot out the FG unit. Think the sim requires 20-25 seconds of running clock theft to attempt a FG or so,etching like that. Would like to see it line up a bit better.

Better time out utilization as well. Inside 30 seconds +1 timeout and teams still kick FGs instead of trying to get closer.

The MLB (or defensive captain) can call an audible, but the plays are called into the huddle before the offense lines up and the microphones shut off within a certain time to the end of the play timer.

I've actually never done defense on GLB2 so I kinda assumed they had the option of choosing based off formation, it's why I run so many plays from the same formations... and it was a total waste of my time apparently... but anyhow, this does make total sense.

I want in Man cover for the defender to keep covering the receiver after the pass is released, seems like they always go for the ball, thus those strange long passes that the WR hooks or cuts and the CB keeps going.
