I've been playing this game for a couple of weeks, but I still haven't figured out what EXACTLY a few skills mean. Can anyone help?

Tackling tech: if power tackling is the art of the bone-crushing hit, strip tackling is how pass rushers slap at the hand of QBs to make them lose balls, and tackling grip is how DBs make shoestring tackles, then what does tackling tech do? Is it an overall governor to all other kinds of tackles, or is it another type of tackle?

Blitz awareness: Does it only work when the dot is rushing the QB? So when he doesn't blitz, what skill is used instead? Is there an overall "vision-reading of the game-anticipation"-type of skill?

Pursuit: Is the just the pursuit of the play, or does it become - at higher levels - the "anticipation of what everyone's gonna do, then do the right thing off that"-kind of skill?

Quickness: The desription says "the ability to change directions quickly". To me, that sounds like agility. But if that's what quickness means in the game, then what is explosiveness/acceleration? Footwork?

Tackling Tech is the Overall art of tackling, it's the first roll needed to win the tackles and increase success of all types of tackles.

Blitz Awareness is applied anytime your rushing the QB. So if you're not in man coverage, zone coverage, or QB spy.

Pursuit is the angle that you take to get to the ball carrier, and to make sure you don't get caught up in a crowd and slowed down.

Quickness is a lot like agility and more, it also plays a role in your players acceleration.

Footwork is more about back pedalling, side stepping, and if you have too high of sprinting without footwork, then your guy won't turn properly.

Tackle Tech: This is the quality of your tackle attempt. Especially when dealing with a tackle that isn't a direct power run at you. To further expand, Power Tackling helps you against power running while also forcing fumbles of course. Tackle Grip is just hanging on to the ball carrier and causes more dragging attempts which is basically another chance of making the tackle or causing group tackling.

Blitz Awareness: To further expand on what canterob said, it applies ANY TIME YOU ARE BLITZING. Just don't want you to get confused that it is only a pass rushing skill. It helps you react to runs and screens better. Bort also mentioned once upon a time that it helps move between the blockers.
