Zone is broken vs 3WR....period. Move the MLB over in nickel and play zones over more towards the 3WR set.

It is ridiculously broken. Add new plays or for the love of God, split 3WR trips and normal 3WR into different sets in the playbook so I can set specific plays for each type.

This is why I quit my all zone project. Trips was just ugly to stop and I was getting murdered by all pass projects. If you couldn't reach them via blitz it was fruitless.

This is all hilarious! Anything that beats you is considered OP. Apparently everyone needs to lose as many games as they win, or else whatever they are doing is OP. All rushing is OP, all throwing is OP! Constantly running the same play till it goes for 70 yard TD's is OP!

How about, just like they are making it so players learn plays, why not make it so "coaches" notice the other team constantly running or passing?

Face it, it's your own fault for running zone against it. If they move the LBs over, then they are out of position to play the run. Then they also would be killed by the crossing route.

Seriously GE, stop being a pussy and put a man defense in against 3WR. You bitching does nothing but discourage the devs from making any changes much like the parent of a child tunes said kid out when shopping at the mall.

In fairness i can understand what you're saying, but do any dime style plays do this in zone? Your gonna leave yourself open to rush/pass elsewhere of course, but if you could deal with that?

GE in football, real football you adjust a defense to an offense.. teams exploit plays.. it's called adjustments. scout a team, if they run 3 wide ADJUST your defense.. Your team will be fine.. you hold up well enough with a zone that doesn't work.. just think if you actually adjusted you'd have a better chance of not getting exposed... I don't think a team would spam 3 wide once you got a few stops.. but until you ADJUST, people will continue to work it against your defense..

You hear it every Saturday and Sunday - all zones have holes.. just a matter of finding them... it's just the way it is.. Run some cover 1 or 2 - you'd still have 2 guys in a zone..

S23 and you finally figured this out.



And this is the wrong fix. Moving the MLB creates an inside run hole.

What you want is for the CB2 to move to the weak side. Just assign the CB2 as a "Man Defender" who will cover the WR2 on the Strong side for Shotgun/Singleback plays and move to the Weak side on TRIPs.

It's the easiest and most logical fix.

Might create a hole for outside rushers strong side... but then in trips, you're gonna have a weakness somewhere, even v most man defenses
