Has anyone had any success with a combo S* QB in GLB2? I've been searching players but all I've found is 100% pass or 100% run. I've been messing with builds in glbscout but I'm still not sure how much of each cap I should aim for. What is the bare minimum pass tech/accuracy/consistency required? Would 85-90 be good enough? Same for sprinting, it's tough to get too much without completely destroying the pass caps. Would appreciate any input if you have experience with it

We discussed this type of build once before... so far its not been thoroughly tested I think to find out how viable it would be.

My opinion was to build one who could throw decently and scramble well, with a few designed runs. I don't think you can get caps high enough to throw great and run great, so you have to sacrifice and run plays to his strengths. Spastic and I discussed this one.... If I buy a 2nd team, I'd be willing to try it out if I had a S*QB to put on there.

Yup, I am just trying to figure out the sweet spot of how much passing you can sacrifice and how much running makes it viable enough to even use some running plays

It's definitely doable.

Bare minimum Sprinting by end build should be 90+, but this one will be 100. Conditioning should be 80+ at least too. Biggest mistake I see on dual QBs is agents using running SAs. Main focus should be scramble friendly SAs like OTR, Quick Read. I also added Pump Fake to this build and it fires quite a bit since my QB can evade rushers and wait for receivers to get open.

As for passing, Pocket Awareness is #1, then Consistency #2, Pass Awareness #3. I won't get into actual numbers but you don't near anywhere near 85+ for any passing skill to be honest. Pass power shouldn't be neglected, you'll want to be able to hit deep targets while scrambling, in fact that's a big benefit of a mobile QB, actually seeing a play develop.

A few other things...Footwork needs to be 50+, or your QB won't be "mobile" enough to scramble effectively. Quickness is your friend on QB rollouts. I know its cliche but play selection matters.

id be interested in seeing him surrounded by an offense that involves Rusty's speed wrs and logzilla's speed back Morn.

I have a pretty nasty Dual Threat S* QB in the build tool that I will use when I reset. BoDiddley's explanation is fairly close. I'll give you his end build passing skills:

tech: 80
acc: 75
con: 80
power: 30
pocket awr: 45
pass awr: 30

I went pretty high conditioning: 85

Oh and sprinting: 75
