Make offensive and defensive players get up faster to try and run on fumble recoveries. If it is possible to do player build wise nobody has figured it out in over 20 seasons here. It would create more exciting plays and more multiple fumble plays as defenders and OLineman are most likely at base carry grip.

anyone timed it? seems when someone goes down they are pretty much down for an entire second aren't they?

How about a balance roll to recover the fumble without falling down?

I think it would make for an interesting SA at least. Kinda like catch in stride but for fumble recoveries...

I don't think I'd spend a SA on a part of the game that doesn't happen that often, personally.

Should tie it into eye on the prize. Not that it's a sa I'd consider but it would make it considerably more worthwhile.

The blueprint is already there with the Pick Six SA for interceptions powered by balance so it seems a no brainer to make a Scoop Six for fumble recoveries.

The difference with fumbles though is that offensive players can pick them up. I wouldn't care for another defensive SA based on limited chances of firing. I think there should be something build wise that accelerates their ability to get up and take off. I want to see the rare but occasional offensive lineman score or simply anybody getting some yards one way or the other after picking up a fumble. It pisses me off every time I see a fumble recovered by some other player near the tackle spot only to have the guy that forced the fumble get up and make a second tackle before the offensive player who recovered the fumble can get up. Same can be said about some defensive fumble recoveries for sure. It just seems like plays could be so much more exciting if players could have a chance to get up and took off whichever way.

Yeah....but at least make the shit fire at %100 on Gold.

It should be integrated within Pick Six, i would never get an SA like this or PS, so useless/waste at the moment, at least make it better. I would even argue to tone down a bit and make an all around return SA, for punt/kick/FRec and INT returns.
